The government, under Adeleke’s leadership, has expressed willingness to collaborate with and offer maximum support to both serving and retired judges, acknowledging the alleged neglect by past administrations.

Governor Adeleke’s spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, issued a statement apologizing for the previous administrations’ oversight. Adeleke emphasized his commitment not only to clearing inherited salary issues but also to providing essential logistical support for serving judicial officers, ensuring the efficient administration of justice.

Reassuring judicial officers of their priority status, Adeleke urged the bar and bench to remain focused and undistracted by destabilizing elements.

Governor Adeleke clarified that his administration is actively addressing financial obligations owed to judicial officers, both serving and retired, with a dedication to improving their conditions of service.
