Breakthrough: Anambra Police Trace Clues In YPP Ward Chairman’s Murder

The Anambra State police have obtained leads on the suspected perpetrators responsible for the killing of Mr. Joe Moghalu, the chairman of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) in Nanka Ward 1, Orumba-North local government area…CONTINUE RADING
DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, the police command’s spokesperson, conveyed the assurance from Commissioner of Police (CP) Aderemi that the culprits would be tracked down and held accountable for their actions.
CP Aderemi characterized the killers as “cowards who have murdered sleep” and pledged to ensure they face the full consequences of their deeds in accordance with the law.
DSP Ikenga Tochukwu emphasized that although the killers may believe they committed a perfect crime and could evade justice, they are mistaken.
Reports indicate that Moghalu was shot by hoodlums after a meeting with Hon Chinwe Nabuife, a member of the National Assembly.
The Appeal Court later annulled her victory, ordering a re-run election in some polling units in Nanka ward in her constituency.
