The allocation includes ₦694,786,041,220 for capital expenditure and ₦112,302,000,000 for recurrent expenditure.
“I initially proposed a budget of ₦756 billion for the year, but the State House of Assembly, in its wisdom, adjusted it to ₦807 billion. This adjustment reflects the strong alignment between the Executive and the Legislature in providing essential services and infrastructure to the people of Imo State,” Uzodimma stated.

Governor Uzodimma commended the House of Assembly for its swift passage of the budget, pledging to ensure its effective implementation.
“I commend the Speaker and members of the House of Assembly for their quick action and for increasing the original budget estimate. This patriotic gesture challenges the executive to take immediate action,” the Governor said.
He further emphasized that the “Budget of Expanded Economic Opportunities” aims to drive Imo State’s economic transformation through better infrastructure and industrialization, positioning the state as a top investment destination.
“We will create expanded economic opportunities through investment and job creation, benefiting the people of Imo. I call on all stakeholders to support this administration as we work towards sustainable development for our state,” Uzodimma concluded.
