The Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Justice John Terhemba Tsoho, has approved the redeployment and posting of judges across various divisions of the court nationwide.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The exercise follows the recent appointment of 14 new judges and the reassignment of three sitting judges within the Federal High Court system.
Justice Tsoho directed all affected judges to resume at their new duty posts on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.
The announcement was contained in a statement signed by the Court’s Director of Information, Dr. Catherine Oby Christopher, dated May 8, 2026.
According to the new postings, Justice Salim Olasupo Ibrahim and Justice Onah Chigozie Sergius have been deployed to Abuja, while Lagos will now host Justice Usoro Kuyik Uduak and Justice Nwoye Osinachi Donatus.
Other postings include Justice Hassan Dikko to Gusau, Zamfara State; Justice Sulaiman Amida Hassan to Osogbo, Osun State; Justice Muhammad Barau Saidu to Minna, Niger State; and Justice Igboko Chinelo Conchita to Akure, Ondo State.
Justice Onuegbu Chioma Angela has been assigned to Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, while Justice Galumje Edingah moves to Abakaliki, Ebonyi State. Justice Ibrahim Vera Eneabo is posted to Gombe, Gombe State, and Justice Abubakar Musa Usman to Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State.
In the North-East, Justice Salihu Aisha Yunusa has been posted to Damaturu, Yobe State, while Justice Shehu Umaru Adamu will serve in Maiduguri, Borno State. Justice Ikpeme Joy Bassey has been deployed to Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Mohammed Ibrahim Buba to Dutse, Jigawa State, and Binjin-Eigegbe Nendelmum Judith to Lokoja, Kogi State.
