The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in Kano has officially suspended two key officials: State Secretary to the State Government (SSG) Abdullahi Baffa Bichi and Commissioner of Transportation Muhammad Diggol. The announcement follows the circulation of a viral audio clip in which Dungurawa disclosed the decision. He stated that the suspensions stemmed from allegations of disloyalty, abuse of power, and disruption within the party.

Dungurawa emphasized that the actions of Bichi and Diggol were harmful to the party’s unity and effectiveness, prompting the need for their suspension. He remarked, “We are announcing today the suspension of SSG Abdullahi Baffa Bichi and Commissioner Muhammad Diggol due to abuse of power, office, and disloyalty to the party.”

He also praised local party leaders for bringing the issues to light, noting that they were all from Bichi North. Dungurawa added, “As party leaders, we deemed this the best decision until we complete our investigation into the matter.
