The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) scheduled the off-cycle governorship elections in Bayelsa, Imo, and Kogi States for Saturday, November 11, 2023.

The major contenders in the Kogi State gubernatorial election are the All Progressives Congress (APC), the Social Democratic Party (SDP), and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Following the conclusion of the election, INEC officials tallied and declared results at individual polling units. Reports indicate that the election in Imo State unfolded with relative peace.
