Voting concluded at 2 pm in some Polling Units, extending until 4:30 pm in others on Saturday. The announcement of results began at the Polling Units, conducted by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials.

It’s noteworthy that INEC scheduled the off-cycle governorship elections in Bayelsa, Imo, and Kogi States for Saturday, November 11, 2023.

Reports indicate that the election in Imo State was generally peaceful.
