The UK Home Office, through its verified X handle (formerly Twitter), announced this decision on Monday.
“Effective immediately, Health and Care Workers entering the UK on Health and Care Worker visas are prohibited from bringing dependents,” the announcement stated.
The Home Office further elaborated, stating, “This measure is part of our comprehensive strategy aimed at achieving the most significant reduction in migration to date.”
