According to the latest figures released by Naira rates, the Naira is currently valued at:
- 1 USD ⇛ ₦1,590.357
- 1 GBP ⇛ ₦2,010.666
- 1 EUR ⇛ ₦1,714.541
- 1 CAD ⇛ ₦1,156.336
This alarming trend coincides with increased borrowing by the government, widespread economic hardship, heightened import duties imposed by customs, significant rises in the prices of essential commodities, food items, and pharmaceuticals, as well as the persistent issue of kidnapping, among other challenges.
