Breaking News: Abducted Baby Taken By Househelp In Lagos safely recovered

In a positive turn of events, the infant who was kidnapped on February 3 by a househelp in Lagos has been located. The spokesperson for the state police command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, revealed that the baby was discovered abandoned in Alade market, Shomolu, on February 5.

The househelp, identified as Ruth, fled with the baby just four days after commencing her employment with the child’s parents. Law enforcement authorities managed to apprehend Ruth in Ikorodu, where she made a shocking confession that she had sold the baby for N800,000.
