Breaking News: Caretaker Committee Chairman Kidnapped By Gunmen In Kogi

Zacheous Dare Michael, the Caretaker Committee Chairman of Kabba Bunu Local Government Area in Kogi State, has reportedly been kidnapped by unknown gunmen. Michael, who is running for the chairmanship of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming Kogi State Council elections on October 19, 2024, was abducted on Friday evening along the Kabba-Okene expressway.

According to a security source cited by Daily Post, the heavily armed kidnappers fired sporadically at Michael’s vehicle while he was returning from a meeting in Lokoja. They captured him and several members of his entourage……… CONTINUE READING

The Owe Political Platform also confirmed the kidnapping on WhatsApp, stating, “Reports confirm that the CTC chairman and some of his aides, including Bank Andrew, have been abducted by unknown gunmen. We urge all members to pray for their safe return and contact the police with any useful information.”
