Dangote Petroleum Refinery has unveiled revised pricing for its diesel and aviation fuel products. Effective immediately, diesel will be retailed at ₦940 per litre, while aviation fuel will be priced at ₦980 per litre.
The adjustment to ₦940 applies to bulk purchases of five million litres and above, while ₦970 will be charged for quantities exceeding one million litres, as clarified by Anthony Chiejina, the company’s Head of Communication. Chiejina emphasized that this pricing update aligns with the company’s commitment to alleviating the economic challenges faced by Nigerians.
In a bid to ensure widespread accessibility to affordable fuel, Dangote Petroleum Refinery has forged a strategic alliance with MRS Oil and Gas stations. This collaboration guarantees that consumers can access diesel for as low as ₦1,050 per litre and aviation fuel at ₦980 per litre across all MRS-operated outlets, spanning from Lagos to Maiduguri. Chiejina noted plans to extend this partnership to other major oil marketers.
The primary objective behind this initiative is to prevent retail buyers from being subjected to exorbitant prices. Chiejina reiterated Dangote Group’s unwavering dedication to enhancing the welfare of Nigerians, expressing optimism that these revised prices will contribute significantly to mitigating the nation’s economic challenges.
