Key participants include the Minister of Labour, Simon Bako Lalong, Minister of State, Hon. Nkeiruka Onyeajeocha, and National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu.
Additionally, prominent figures from the labor sector, such as TUC President Festus Osifo, NLC Secretary General Emmanuel Ugboaja, and other labor leaders, are also present.
The nationwide strike was initiated by the NLC and TUC, who are demanding the apprehension of suspected thugs and their backers.
This development follows an attack on the NLC president in Owerri, Imo State, on November 1, during a protest by state workers over unpaid salaries.
