The statement conveyed the following: “The Management categorically rejects the unfounded and damaging news concerning the institution, asserting that the individuals displayed in Abuja by the Force PRO, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, are students of Kwara State Polytechnic.
The Polytechnic administration firmly emphasizes that its students are reputable representatives of the Polytechnic, the state, and the nation as a whole, and would never engage in such actions.”
The institution further affirmed that the assertion that the suspects are enrolled in the polytechnic is false, without basis, and a product of imagination, noting that this claim was intended to tarnish the reputation of the consistently peaceful institution.
The institution’s registrar urged all stakeholders and media personnel to validate any information associated with the institution before disseminating it.
