This was confirmed in a letter dated October 14, 2024, signed by Emperor Jarrett Tenebe, APC Chairman, Edo State, and addressed to Governor Obaseki. The letter expressed the party’s readiness for a collaborative transition process, stating:

“We look forward to a smooth and effective collaboration with our 24-member Committee, headed by Chief Pius Odubu, for meaningful discussions that will lead to a seamless transition.”

Prominent figures in the committee include Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, Ernest Afolabi Umakhihe, and Kazeem Afegbua. Other notable members include Dr. Pharm. Matthew Urhoghide, Barrister Andrew Adaze Enwanta, and Omosede Igbinedion. The list underscores the APC’s commitment to a broad and experienced transition team.
