According to the tweets, the 8 a.m. flight finally departed at 2 p.m. after a replacement power pack was obtained to manually shut down the aircraft. Upon landing in Abuja at 1 p.m., passengers were not allowed to disembark immediately due to the plane’s failure to power off. The airline had to locate another power pack to address the issue manually. The frustrated passenger stated, “Anyways, never again!”
One video captured a passenger expressing dismay, stating, “For an 8 a.m. flight, this is past 10, and we’re still here. Air Peace! Apparently, the plane is faulty, and the pilot was trying to maneuver and make it work for the past two hours until passengers started shouting, and then they had to… we must come out eventually.”
Further complaints included missed appointments and events, with passengers citing the lack of communication, explanation, or compensation from the airline. In response to the ordeal, passengers have united, agreeing to pursue a class-action lawsuit against @flyairpeace, especially for those who have faced multiple similar experiences. One passenger emphasized the need to take legal action, stating, “We’ve to sue, we’ve to take this thing to court. If we don’t do anything, they’ll keep doing this nonsense.” Another passenger noted, “This is my third time – third experience with Air Peace.
