Following the directive of Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Admiral EI Ogalla, the vessel has been made available for other agencies to conduct their own independent investigations and collect samples to determine its culpability.

Additionally, it was revealed that the vessel is owned by a Ghanaian and registered in Ghana under a Ghanaian company.

Regarding another previously detained vessel, Motor Tanker VINNALARIS, the FOC stated that investigations have been expanded beyond the crew to uncover the masterminds behind these illegal activities.

The Nigerian Navy expressed gratitude to the Department of State Services (DSS) for their collaboration in investigating cases related to crude oil theft.
