In his address during the 32nd Iwo Day Celebrations in Iwo on Saturday, the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi, urged Nigerians to exercise patience as President Bola Tinubu works towards leading the nation onto a trajectory of greater development.
The monarch also took the opportunity to appeal to the Federal Government, urging them to intensify efforts in alleviating the adverse impacts of subsidy removal on the populace.
Oba Akanbi emphasized the need for Nigerians to be patient and allow President Tinubu the time and space to enhance the country’s prospects. He further called on the Federal Government to continue their dedicated efforts, acknowledging the measures already taken to mitigate the effects of subsidy removal while expressing the desire for additional actions to further alleviate the challenges faced by the citizens.
