As per the schedule, individuals aspiring to participate in the governorship election can acquire the nomination form for N21 million, with a noteworthy 50 percent discount offered to youths aged 25 to 30.
The registration period for both existing and new members spans from November 16 to December 7. The crucial party congress, determining the governorship candidate, is slated for February 22, 2024.
Submission of ward registers to the Directorate of Organisation and Mobilisation must be completed by December 14. A stakeholders’ consultative meeting with the National Working Group is scheduled for December 19-20.
The sale of expression of interest and ad-hoc forms for all offices is set for January 10-16. January 17 marks the final day for the submission of completed expression of interest and ad-hoc forms.
On January 18, 2024, the National Working Committee will conduct the screening of aspirants vying for the governorship seat. Sales of nomination forms to aspirants who have submitted their expression of interest forms will take place from January 19-25, with the deadline for completed nomination forms set for January 27.
