BREAKING: Portable Knocks Out Speed Darlington In Wild Celebrity Showdown!

Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, triumphed over his rival, Darlington Okoye, aka Speed Darlington, in a highly anticipated celebrity boxing match dubbed “Chaos in the Rings.”

Held on Saturday morning at the Balmoral Events Centre in Lagos, the match saw Portable deliver a dominating performance, ultimately securing a technical knockout victory. The Zazoo Zeh crooner floored Speed Darlington, who sustained an injury to his right wrist during the bout.

Meanwhile, Portable narrowly avoided re-arrest over a separate legal matter. The artist had earlier been remanded at the federal correctional facility in Oke Kura, Ilorin, after failing to meet bail conditions tied to a petition by veteran fuji singer, Okunola Saheed (Saheed Osupa).

Osupa had accused Portable of criminal defamation, cyberstalking, incitement, and intimidation. However, on Tuesday, the fuji icon withdrew his petition through his legal representative, Opalekunde Ahmed, effectively securing Portable’s release.

According to a report by The Punch, Osupa also intervened to stop another potential re-arrest of Portable by the Managing Director of Starwood Hotels in Ilorin, Yemi George. This followed allegations that Portable received ₦6.3 million for a performance he failed to deliver. Osupa’s timely intervention prevented further legal troubles for the embattled singer.
