Breaking: Regina Daniels’ Brother Sammy Walks Free On ₦5 Million Bail After Days In Detention

The bail was reportedly approved on Monday, November 10, 2025, after he spent several days in detention. Sammy had initially been remanded at Keffi Prison by a Dutse Magistrate Court on Thursday before being transferred to Suleja Prison.

His elder brother, @Sweezzy1, shared the news on Instagram, writing, “Sammy, you are a great man. Bail has been granted! Nigerians, thank you.”

Police Had Confirmed Arrest and Arraignment
The Federal Capital Territory Police Command had earlier confirmed Sammy’s arrest and arraignment on Friday, November 7, 2025, over multiple alleged offences.

According to the Police spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, security operatives received a petition on October 28 accusing Sammy and three others of criminal conspiracy, trespass, assault, criminal intimidation, theft, and cyber-bullying. Sammy was invited for questioning but failed to appear, leading to his arrest in Lagos State.

He was arraigned on Thursday, November 6, 2025, and remanded pending the fulfillment of his bail conditions.

The police statement read:
“Upon receipt of the petition, several invitations were extended to Mr. Samuel Ojeogwu by the Metro Area Command for questioning, which were not honoured. Mr. Samuel Ojeogwu was subsequently arrested in Lagos on the authority of a duly issued arrest warrant from a competent court and conveyed to Abuja for further investigation.

“Following the conclusion of investigations, the suspect was charged to court on November 6, 2025, for offences including criminal conspiracy, criminal trespass, assault, criminal intimidation, and theft. He was remanded pending the fulfillment of his bail conditions.”
