Breaking: Rivers Power Player Ibas Invades Senate – What He Said Sh**k The Chamber

The Sole Administrator of Rivers State, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (retd.), has appeared before the Senate for deliberations on the state’s ₦1.48 trillion budget.

His appearance comes just weeks after the National Assembly reiterated its dedication to protecting the interests of Rivers residents, following President Bola Tinubu’s declaration of emergency rule on March 18, 2025.

Ibas was joined by top government officials, including members of the state’s economic team, to engage with the Senate Ad-Hoc Committee on Emergency Rule in Rivers State.
