BREAKING: Shockwaves As PDP Rep Wole Oke Dumps Party Ahead Of 2027

A member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Oluwole Oke, has formally parted ways with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Oke, a six-term lawmaker representing the Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency of Osun State, reached the decision after wide consultations with political allies, associates, and family members.

In a resignation letter dated April 16, 2025, and addressed to the PDP Ward 7 Chairman in Obokun Local Government Area, Oke made his departure from the party official. He also confirmed the development during a brief phone interview with our correspondent on Wednesday.

“I have resigned from the PDP,” he stated plainly.

While he remained tight-lipped about his future political direction, Oke urged his loyalists and supporters to exit the PDP and stay tuned for further instructions.
