Breaking: Tinubu Gets APC 2027 Presidential Ticket Certificate Of Return

Alongside the certificate, Tinubu was also presented with the APC party flag, symbolising his status as the party’s flagbearer for the upcoming election.

The presentation took place on Sunday in Abuja, where the documents were handed over by the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, during a formal ceremony.

The event followed Tinubu’s official declaration as winner of the party’s presidential primary, in which he defeated his sole opponent, Stanley Osifo from Edo State.

The primary election was conducted across 8,809 wards in all 774 local government areas of Nigeria, with results collated at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja.

Tinubu, accompanied by First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu, attended the ceremony where he received the certificate of return and party flag, formally confirming him as the APC’s presidential candidate for 2027.

The President had earlier returned to Abuja from Lagos after participating in the party’s primary election process.

His return and subsequent presentation marked the official completion of the APC’s internal process for selecting its 2027 presidential standard-bearer.
