Bull Dog Chews Owners “Toe To The Bone” While He Was Sleeping
A man from the United Kingdom said he woke up in horror after his puppy reportedly chewed his big toe to the bone. When David Lindsay, 64, awoke to the sound of his wife screaming, he found his right big toe was covered in blood.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
According to reports, Lindsay’s big toe was cracked after the seven-month-old bulldog puppy nibbled on it, leaving the nail hanging off. He claims, however, that the incident saved his life when doctors discovered Lindsay had lost feeling in his feet due to two blocked arteries in his legs.
He has diabetes and has no intention of giving up his beloved pet. “I was asleep on the couch when my wife walked in and shouted, ‘Dave, the puppy’s chewing your toe!’ My puppy had near enough chewed my big toe off! It chewed down to the bone and cracked it.
But because of all this, I discovered that my foot is completely numb, I can’t feel anything,” After his wife wrapped up his toe, Lindsay was rushed to a nearby hospital and remained there for nine days. He was placed on intravenous antibiotics to stop the infection from spreading to his big toe.
The outlet also reported that the blockages could’ve put his leg in danger, and doctors would have to amputate it. Currently, he is being assessed for stents to help open up the arteries so blood flow can return to his leg.
