Expressing their concerns in a press statement signed by their National Secretary, Salihu Mahmud, the youth group emphasized that Toro is a highly populated local government area in Bauchi State, serving over 1.2 million people.
The erosion problem at the hospital is becoming a critical issue, and the situation could worsen during the next rainy season.
Mahmud stated, “The hospital is a crucial healthcare facility, not only for the people of Toro but also for residents of Jos North and Jos East local government areas in Plateau State, as well as Lere council in Kaduna State and other nearby areas in Bauchi State.”
He also highlighted the lack of adequate road infrastructure within the hospital facility, further exacerbating the erosion issue.
