Sadiya Umar-Farouk, accused of a N37.1 billion fraud, served as the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development under former President Muhammadu Buhari. The allegations suggest that the funds were laundered under her watch through a contractor named James Okwete.

Halima Shehu, the former chief executive officer and national coordinator of the National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA), was suspended by President Bola Tinubu. She faces charges related to an alleged ₦44 billion money laundering scheme.

Most recently, Betta Edu, formerly the national women leader of the All Progressive Congress, was suspended as the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation. She is accused of diverting over ₦585 million of public money into a personal bank account.

In response to these allegations, Charley Boy took to social media to share photos of the three women and made derogatory comments about them. He accused them of being involved in corrupt practices and questioned whether Aso Rock was becoming a haven for thieves. Charley Boy’s comments have sparked criticism for resorting to slut-shaming, raising concerns about the tone and language used to address serious allegations of corruption.
