In response, the actress clarified that her gym sessions are aimed at maintaining her health and fitness, not seeking validation through physical appearance.
She revealed that although she initially felt the urge to clap back at critics, the overwhelming support from fans encouraged her to remain calm. Nkechi further stated that she has left the matter in God’s hands, particularly regarding the individual who took and circulated the picture.
Reaffirming her confidence, the actress stressed that her focus is on staying healthy and embracing her body with pride, regardless of negative remarks.
Sharing her thoughts on Instagram Thursday night, she wrote:
“I wanted to react, then I read the comments. You really cannot disgrace a woman who carries herself with so much grace. And to the person who took that picture, I leave you in God’s hands—He will judge you accordingly.
Nkechi is simply trying to stay fit in the gym, and that has now become a topic. Lmao. With my big belly with pride, una go dey alright for real.”
