Dr. Ajulo stressed the need to reform the salary structure of judges to bring it in line with that of Senators.

He also pointed out the successful court redesign and renovation carried out in Lagos State during Tinubu’s tenure as Governor and called for a similar initiative to be implemented nationwide now that he is President.

Furthermore, Dr. Ajulo highlighted the importance of ensuring the security of justices, particularly in light of the recent extension of their retirement age.

He referenced the ongoing issue between the Osun State government and the Chief Judge of the State as an example.

He urged the government to declare a state of emergency to safeguard the welfare and security of federal judges, as they could potentially face conspiracies.

Dr. Ajulo concluded by stating that the incident involving the Chief Judge of Ekiti State serves as a symbolic indication of the present state of most judges, highlighting their vulnerable status as endangered species.
