Atiku revealed that his logistics company, INTELS Nigeria Ltd, had been handling pilotage contracts for oil companies at Nigerian seaports for years prior to the Buhari administration’s arrival in 2015.
During a world press conference in Abuja on Thursday, where he disclosed his discovery of President Bola Tinubu’s academic records at the Chicago State University (CSU), Atiku responded to concerns about potential repercussions on his business interests due to his recent political advocacy.
He stated, “I was the founder of one of the largest logistics companies since the military era, and as soon as Buhari came into power, even though we had licenses and were not involved in government affairs, our contracts with the oil companies were revoked and taken away from us, and it has remained that way to this day. So, I am no longer engaged in any government business.
I am not concerned about any business being taken away from me because it was already taken away during the Buhari administration. They seized it and distributed it among themselves.”
