Controversy Erupts As Wike’s Aide Accuses Sowore Of Hiding ₦885m Mansion In America Full Details Inside

The Media Aide to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, Lere Olayinka, has alleged that former presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, owns a mansion in the United States valued at $552,000 (approximately ₦885 million).....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Olayinka made the claim in a post on his verified X handle on Friday, where he also accused Sowore of running the AAC as his personal enterprise.

According to him, Sowore, who is the Publisher of Sahara Reporters, holds multiple roles within the party, including chairman, presidential candidate, and financial secretary, effectively making him the “sole proprietor” of the AAC.

He further alleged that Sowore’s party members had previously suspended him over corruption-related issues, writing:

“Sowore is the Chairman of AAC political party. He is Presidential Candidate of AAC. He is Financial Secretary of AAC. In fact, he is Sole Proprietor of AAC.
He owns a mansion worth $552,000 (about ₦885m) in the US. Na CASHTIVIST Sowore be that. That’s why his party members suspended him for CORRUPTION.”

Meanwhile, the Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has called on the Federal Government to take decisive action against Sowore over his criticisms of President Bola Tinubu and Minister Wike.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, APC state chairman, Tony Okocha, described Sowore as a “serial merchant of discord and purveyor of half-truths,” urging Nigerians to disregard his “defamatory” remarks, which he said were dangerous to the country’s democracy.
