Nigerian media personality, Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze, has expressed outrage towards Nollywood producers regarding the burial of makeup artist Abigail Fredrick at the river bank in Anambra State. Previously, Naija News reported the recovery and burial of Abigail’s body following a tragic boat accident involving Nollywood actor Junior Pope.

On Thursday, April 11, Abigail Fredrick’s remains, along with those of the cameraman, were discovered after the unfortunate incident on Wednesday. Moses Eskor, a filmmaker and actor, disclosed on social media that Abigail’s family couldn’t afford the necessary traditional sacrifices for her body to be returned home to Akwa Ibom, nor were they able to raise sufficient funds for the traditional rites.

Daddy Freeze took to his Instagram page to express his dismay, questioning why Nollywood producers couldn’t gather enough funds to ensure Abigail’s proper burial. He remarked, “So the producers cannot raise the money abi? Na wa o… Just be famous in this life. The FreeNation would have raised the money in a few hours if only we were informed.
