Cubana Chief Priest Reveals Shocking Hotel Elevator Ordeal In Benin
Nigerian socialite and businessman Paschal Okechukwu, popularly known as Chief Priest, has expressed dissatisfaction with the condition of roads in Benin City, Edo State, while recounting an unpleasant experience he said he had during his visit to the city.
According to Bush Radio Academy, Chief Priest raised the concerns in a post on Instagram, where he criticised the state of infrastructure in several parts of Benin City.
The socialite claimed that poor road conditions were not restricted to less developed areas, alleging that some streets within the Government Reserved Area (GRA) were also in bad shape. He further described the road leading to the Edo State Government House as being in extremely poor condition.
Chief Priest also recounted an incident at Protea Hotel in Benin City, claiming that he became trapped inside an elevator at the hotel. He said the incident added to what he described as an unpleasant overall experience during his stay in the city.
Reacting to what he encountered, the socialite urged people to pray for Benin, saying the city needed attention based on his experience.
Chief Priest also compared Benin City with Owerri, Imo State, his hometown. While acknowledging that Owerri also has roads that require improvement, particularly on some streets, he said the condition he encountered in Benin made Owerri appear significantly better by comparison.
His comments have sparked reactions online, particularly over the state of roads and public infrastructure in Benin City, as residents and social media users continue to debate the condition of major roads and facilities across the city.
