HURIWA further alleged that Hannatu Musawa’s designated primary assignment location is a law firm in Abuja and highlighted her reported absence from her service duties.
In response to these claims, the NYSC spokesperson, Eddy Megwa, confirmed that Hannatu Musawa is indeed an ongoing corps member.
In adherence to the NYSC Act, individuals aged 30 and above are exempt from the mandatory one-year service scheme.

Additionally, individuals bestowed with national honors are not required to participate in the scheme.
It should be noted that on Monday, President Bola Tinubu administered the oath of office to Hannatu Musawa and 44 other ministers, inducting them as members of the Federal Executive Council (FEC).
