CUPP Spokesperson Ugochinyere Imo Appointed Director General Of PDP’s Imo Governorship Campaign

Imo, who also represents Ideato North, South federal constituency in the House of Representatives, will play a pivotal role in steering the campaign efforts of the PDP in the state.
The statement also disclosed that Ugonna Ozurigbo, the representative of Nwangele, Nkwerre, Isu, Njaba Federal Constituency, has been appointed as the Deputy Director General, responsible for representing the Orlu zone senatorial district.
Lancelot Obiaku, the Director General of the PDP’s New Media Directorate in the state, expressed his confidence that the appointments signaled a determined commitment to secure victory in the November governorship poll. Obiaku described Imo as a dedicated grassroots activist who enjoys widespread support from the people.
The statement emphasized the significance of the appointed leadership team, stating, “We are thrilled by the immense support and jubilation expressed by the people of Imo towards the selection of Hon.
Ikenga Ugochinyere Ikeagwuonu as the Director-General of the PDP Governorship Campaign Council for the highly anticipated Governorship election in November.”
Obiaku highlighted Imo’s activist background and his ability to transition into politics while maintaining a strong stance against executive recklessness and abuse of power.
He further noted that Imo’s popularity extends across diverse demographics and beyond the boundaries of Imo State.
Also appointed to key positions within the campaign are Hon. Ugonna Ozurigbo (OZB), known for his influential political leadership, and Hon. Chidi Ibe, Hon. Ngozi Ogbu, and Prince Marshall Okafor Anyanwu, all of whom possess noteworthy political accomplishments.
