He emphasized that based on the individuals chosen by the President, he harbors modest expectations, asserting that certain appointments were predominantly driven by political considerations.

Bwala stated, “I believe that in terms of the number of ministers, President Tinubu was more focused on political aspects rather than governance. The presence of governors in the cabinet and the roles assigned to specific individuals appear to be primarily politically motivated.”

He continued, “I don’t foresee a level of performance surpassing 15 percent when looking at the members of the cabinet.

This is because the cabinet comprises individuals whose previous records fall short of the standards we expect from them.

Some have been governors in states where they had ample resources and authority to make executive decisions without scrutiny, yet their performance was underwhelming.”

The recent inauguration ceremony saw President Tinubu swearing in 45 ministers, including former Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike as the Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and Festus Keyamo as the Minister of Aviation.

Other appointments included Wale Edun as Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola for Transportation, David Umahi for Works, and Betta Edu for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.

Bwala had previously addressed an open letter to Nyesom Wike, who assumed office at the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) after the inauguration ceremony at the presidential villa.
