The seized items comprised 491 25-liter jerrycans and 8 20-liter jerrycans of petroleum, intercepted in Mubi while on their way to Cameroon.

He credited the recent interceptions to the support of the current leadership of the NCS under Comptroller-General, Mr. Bashir Adeniyi.
In another development, the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) reported a significant interception at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos. Between January and April, officers seized fake $1.2 million notes, 148 drones, and five cryptocurrency machines.
