Dangote, Adenuga, Abdulsamad, Otedola Lead Forbes Ranking With $26 Billion Net Worth

Forbes has unveiled its 2024 ranking of Nigeria’s wealthiest individuals, spotlighting Aliko Dangote, Mike Adenuga, Abdulsamad Rabiu, and Femi Otedola at the helm.

According to the latest Forbes Real-Time Billionaires report released on Tuesday, the combined wealth of Nigeria’s top three richest businessmen experienced a slight decline of 11.23 percent, settling at $25.3 billion.

Aliko Dangote, President/Chief Executive of the Dangote Group, Abdul Samad Rabiu, Chairman of BUA Group, and Globacom’s Mike Adenuga constitute this trio, with their collective fortune seeing a dip from $28.5 billion recorded in 2023 to $25.3 billion.

Breaking down the figures, Dangote’s net worth witnessed a marginal reduction from $14.2 billion in 2023 to $13.4 billion in 2024. Similarly, Rabiu’s wealth decreased slightly to $5.2 billion from $8.2 billion in the previous year, while Adenuga’s fortune saw a modest increase from $6.1 billion to $6.7 billion within the span of one year.
