He stated, “The reason I don’t have a house in London or America is simply to concentrate on Nigeria’s industrialization. Having those properties would lead to distractions.”
Dangote emphasized his dedication to the Nigerian dream, mentioning he owns a house in Lagos, another in his home state of Kano, and a rented property in Abuja.
Fatima Dangote, the Group Executive Director of Commercial Operations, commended her father’s hard work and perseverance. She said, “I haven’t seen anyone as dedicated as my father. If Nigeria had more leaders like him, the country would improve significantly.”
Earlier, the group CEO revealed that the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation’s stake in the refinery has decreased from 20% to 7.2%, citing unmet financial obligations.
