Dark Secrets Revealed: Enugu Youths Expose Kidnapping And Ritual Rings

Though Ezeani had portrayed himself as a businessman, it emerged that he was actually a native doctor harboring dark secrets.

According to the accusations, Ezeani was allegedly using his compound as a site for abducting victims. It was claimed that he buried people alive — including pregnant women and children — in soak-away pits for ritualistic purposes.

When the youths investigated, they were horrified to discover human remains buried within the compound, shocking the entire community.

A video that quickly went viral on social media showed enraged youths ransacking Ezeani’s property, including what appeared to be his shrine. The community’s uncovering of these gruesome acts escalated tensions.

One young victim who narrowly escaped shared her harrowing story in a viral video: “My father and I went to fetch firewood to fry our garri. His men asked my dad for his cutlass, which he handed over. Suddenly, they grabbed me and threw me into a pit they had dug. I cried out, and thankfully, the Neighborhood Watch operatives heard me and came to rescue me.”

In another shocking clip, a community member described the discovery: “We have caught the killers. They murder people. Bodies are buried here. They have killed many. We just rescued a 13-year-old girl they wanted to use for rituals.”

The video also showed that the youths had detained a suspect identified as a security guard employed by Ezeani to protect the compound. The suspect, who denied involvement in the killings, admitted to participating in ritual activities at the residence.

During his interrogation by the angry youths, the man referred to Ezeani as “Daddy Ezeani” and said, “I’m a businessman who came here. After completing some sacrifices, I was waiting for a water sacrifice. I don’t know all the methods he uses, but newcomers are often sent on errands. Daddy Ezeani asked me to protect the place and scare off anyone who came near.”
