Davido And Sophia Momodu Head To Court Over Imade’s Custody....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Internationally acclaimed musician Davido, whose real name is David Adeleke, has taken legal action against Sophia Momodu, the mother of his daughter Imade. The lawsuit, filed at the Lagos State High Court under case number LD/1587PMC/2024, requests joint custody of Imade or, alternatively, unrestricted visitation rights for Davido.

In the court documents, Davido, represented by lawyers including Dr. Olaniyi Arije and Okey Barrah, highlights his consistent financial support for Imade. This includes payment of school fees and providing accommodation in a secure condominium at Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos, which Sophia reportedly declined in favor of continued financial support for a rented apartment.

Davido further asserts his provision of vehicles and financial assistance for Imade’s well-being, including medical care and international travel expenses. Despite these efforts, Davido alleges Sophia has made unreasonable demands, leading to ongoing conflict.

The legal dispute underscores previous tensions between Davido and Sophia, including a past incident where Sophia expressed disappointment that Imade did not bear her surname, Momodu.

The case is set to address fundamental issues of parental rights and responsibilities, focusing on the best interests of their child, Imade Adeleke.
