Davido Doesn’t Act Like A Billionaire – Logos Olori Speaks On His Boss

Nigerian singer and Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) signee, Logos Olori, has praised David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, for his relentless dedication to music despite his wealthy background.

According to Bush Radio Academy, Olori made the remarks during a recent episode of the Wahala Podcast, where he discussed Davido’s passion for music and his approach to his career.

Olori said Davido works with an intensity that, in his view, is unusual for someone who does not depend on music as his primary source of wealth. He suggested that the competition within the Nigerian music industry could be one of the factors motivating the award-winning singer to remain highly active.

“Davido works like he doesn’t have money. I feel like the competition drives him. He is very passionate. I don’t think he needs music money; he just does it for fun,” Olori said.

The singer also revealed that Davido eventually signed him after he contributed to the creation of the hit song ‘Unavailable’. Olori added that he had been living comfortably in Dubai before deciding to relocate to Nigeria to pursue music as a full-time career.

Meanwhile, Nigerian singer Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has dismissed reports of a feud between him and Davido. Rema said there is no issue between the two artistes, attributing speculation about tension between them to comparisons and reactions from fans.

The ‘Calm Down’ hitmaker also stated that he respects older artistes in the Nigerian music industry and has no personal problem with Davido.
