The decision comes amid mounting allegations of debt totaling millions, which have reportedly caused Chioma significant embarrassment.

In a post on Instagram, Stella revealed that Chioma’s frustration with the ongoing social media accusations about Ubi’s financial dealings led to his removal as her manager. Insiders noted that the situation, where Ubi is allegedly owing multiple people substantial sums, has become highly embarrassing.

The post read: “Ubi Franklin has been facing mounting criticism, accused of owing several people millions. Sources close to the couple claim that Chioma has decided to sever ties with him due to the constant embarrassment. One insider questioned, ‘How can one person owe so many people and refuse to pay back? It’s really embarrassing.’”

Additionally, it was noted that neither Davido nor Chioma, nor their 30BG crew, acknowledged Ubi’s birthday on Sunday, a departure from past practices where they celebrated him publicly on social media.

This follows a recent incident involving Ubi Franklin and musician Spyro, who accused Ubi of scamming him by using Davido’s name to secure a performance. Spyro claimed that after performing at a show, Ubi refused to pay him the agreed $5,000. Franklin, in response, argued that Spyro still owed him money and that the withheld payment was part of a larger debt related to a car deal, where Spyro allegedly owes him ₦2 million.
