Dayo Amusa Speaks Out, Tells Lizzy Anjorin To Stop Using Her Child’s Name
Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa has issued a stern warning to colleague Lizzy Anjorin amid a fresh wave of online drama following her son’s first birthday celebration.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The dispute emerged after Dayo hosted a lavish party for her baby boy, attended by several notable figures in the film industry, including Iyabo Ojo and Mercy Aigbe.
Clips from the event went viral, with some viewers claiming that the band’s performance included subtle jabs directed at Lizzy. In response, Lizzy went live on Instagram on Thursday, accusing Dayo and Iyabo of disrespect and insisting the act was aimed at her.
Dayo fired back with a forceful voice note circulating online, warning Lizzy to stop dragging her child into any social media drama. She emphasized that they are not friends and reminded Lizzy of previous incidents that led to their strained relationship, including Lizzy’s attempt to visit her after childbirth, which Dayo politely declined.
Dayo explained she reached out via Instagram messages because she did not have Lizzy’s phone number, just as Lizzy once contacted her to congratulate her on her son’s birth.
She stated: “I don’t want issues with you. We are parallel lines that will never meet. We are not friends. You called me out after I delivered my baby and said you wanted to visit, but I declined honorably because of past conflicts. Let this be the last time in your life that you ever mention my baby’s name in your videos. I don’t joke with my child. If it happens again, my reaction will be outside social media, and you won’t like it. Stay in your lane and respect yourself. Don’t use my child for your video antics, or people will pity you by the time I am done. I never want to have anything to do with you.”
