Deji Adeyanju Slams Police Spokesperson Muyiwa Adejobi Over Controversial Statements

Prominent human rights activist, Deji Adeyanju, has publicly criticized the Nigeria Police Force Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, over statements he described as “irresponsible and misleading.

Adeyanju’s remarks come in response to Adejobi’s recent comments defending the conduct of police officers in various controversial incidents across the country.

In a statement released on his social media platforms, Adeyanju accused Adejobi of consistently siding with law enforcement officers, even in situations where there is clear evidence of police misconduct. “It is disheartening to see a public officer tasked with representing the interests of the people blatantly ignore the truth and defend the indefensible,” Adeyanju stated.
