Dele Momodu Prays For Kemi Badenoch: ‘May God Deliver Her From Childhood Trauma In Nigeria
Media personality Dele Momodu has taken to social media to offer a prayer for Kemi Badenoch, leader of the British Conservative Party, asking God to deliver her from whatever trauma she may have experienced during her upbringing in Nigeria.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Momodu’s comments came in response to a resurfaced video where Badenoch described her time at Federal Government Girls College (FGGC), Sagamu, Ogun State as akin to being in prison. In a recent interview, she recounted her time at the boarding school, describing harsh conditions including cutting grass with a machete and cleaning toilets without running water.
“I went to a secondary school — a federal government girls school in Sagamu. It felt like being in prison. I had to use a machete to cut grass and fetch buckets of water,” she said.
Badenoch further explained that the boarding school, which housed about 150 girls, was part of a federal system that scattered top-performing students across the country, regardless of proximity to home. She likened the experience to “Lord of the Flies,” where students were largely left to govern themselves in difficult conditions.
Reacting to her remarks, Dele Momodu posted:
“I truly and genuinely admire Madam Kemi for her personal achievements, but I often feel uneasy about her constant denigration of Nigeria. May God Almighty deliver her from whatever might have deeply traumatized her during her childhood in Nigeria.”
