In the petition—filed on July 29, 2025, through her legal team, The Maverick Forte Legal—Ojo accused the NPF-NCC of breaching professional protocols during her recent interrogation at the Force Headquarters in Abuja.

According to the document, VeryDarkMan, a civilian and defendant in a separate case where Ojo serves as a witness, was improperly granted access to her interrogation room. She claims this was facilitated by Commissioner of Police Ifeanyi Henry Uche, allegedly due to a close personal relationship between the commissioner and VeryDarkMan.

The actress further alleged that details of the confidential interrogation were leaked online by VeryDarkMan, violating her privacy and undermining the integrity of the process.

Expressing her distrust in the current handling of the case, Ojo has vowed not to return to the Abuja office and requested that the investigation be transferred to Lagos for an impartial and transparent review.

Ojo’s police invitation stemmed from her public accusations against singer Naira Marley, whom she linked to the death of singer Mohbad. Prior to his passing, Mohbad had repeatedly alleged harassment and threats from individuals including Naira Marley and Sam Larry, which reignited public outcry after disturbing videos and petitions emerged online.
