The Commissioner of Police in Delta State, CP Abaniwinda Olufemi, has announced that the Eagle-Net’s Special Squad successfully apprehended a fifty-four-year-old woman named Efe David in possession of one hundred and seventy-five (175) live cartridges. CP Olufemi revealed that the suspect, a resident of Oria-Abraka Community in Ethiope-East Local Government Area, was taken into custody following a search conducted by the police in a commercial Sienna during a routine patrol along the Asaba/Ibusa road. The arrest was made after the police flagged down the vehicle.
Providing further details, CP Olufemi stated, “The suspect is currently in custody, and the investigation is underway.” The police are actively pursuing leads to gather more information about the circumstances surrounding the possession of the live cartridges by Efe David.
