Delta State Police Deny Knowledge Of Ex-Rep’s Abduction And Death

Reports have suggested that Mrakpor was killed by her abductors and that her body was found in a part of the state. However, Police Public Relations Officer SP Bright Edafe refuted these claims, indicating that the abductors have not made any contact.

Edafe also noted that a team of security personnel dispatched to the banks of the River Niger in Asaba and Onitsha to investigate the reports either of her death or release returned without any new information.

Mrakpor was abducted from her church in Asaba on Tuesday, during which a police orderly and driver assigned to her were killed.
