In a statement issued on Tuesday in Warri, Delta State, King Whiskey implored the protesters to suspend their actions for the sake of national interest. He acknowledged that the core issues of hunger, insecurity, inflation, and the disconnect between the ruling class and ordinary citizens have been effectively communicated and now call for reflection and open discussion.

He advised the youths to channel their efforts into dialogue and alternative conflict resolution methods, cautioning that the original intent of the protests has been overshadowed by those who have exploited the situation for personal gain.

King Whiskey also appealed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to adopt a more inclusive and people-oriented approach in addressing the issues raised, using a fatherly perspective to find solutions that improve the living standards of Nigerians. He stressed that peace and unity should prevail and called on all levels of government to collaborate on policies related to security and agriculture to address the country’s challenges.
